Key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our Sunday Service. Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at:

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a warm welcome from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.

Our Sunday morning services combine an informal style with strong Bible-based teaching. For the first 30 minutes or so you can expect to have the opportunity to sing a few songs, hear a passage from the Bible, possibly with a reflection or simple story suitable for all ages and one of our church members will lead a short time of prayer. After the notices there will be a preach from one of the leaders at the Church with a chance to respond at the end of the service.

Evening services, on the first Sunday of every month, are smaller and more intimate, providing space for quiet reflection as they focus on prayer and communion.

Is the church accessible?

We want everyone to be able to share in our worship service. There is wheelchair access into the church, as well as accessible toilets, an induction loop for the hard of hearing and we provide large print song sheets for the visually impaired. An increasing number of our church members are training to better understand and support people with dementia.

Parking is available within the church grounds and there is some free on-street parking around the church.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

Do I need to bring money?

No. As a Baptist church, we recognise that the members are responsible for financing the church's work. At some point in the service, a collection bag will be passed around and anyone is free to contribute if they wish - but if they don't want to, that's fine. By the way, don't be surprised if some people don't put anything into the bag - many members make their contribution through their bank.

The money collected is used to pay for the work that the church carries out, its minister, the running costs, and so on. But it's not all about us - each year we give away at least 10% of the money collected to fund other Christian mission work - locally, nationally and internationally.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?
