Sunday Services

The church meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our morning service, and at 6:30 pm on the first Sunday of each month for prayer and communion.
We meet at:

There is parking available on the site.

You can expect a warm welcome, authentic worship, an impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God. 

Our hearts’ desire is for worship at Oakes to be truly authentic. You will find that our Sunday morning services have an informal feel – but please don’t think that means we lack respect or awe for God. We recognise him to be all powerful, all knowing and ever present. so that informal style is combined with Bible-based teaching.

There is opportunity for prayer before the start of the service in our 'quiet area', Members of our Prayer Ministry team are always available at the end of the service. 

We are blessed with some gifted musicians – and our worship services blend the best of modern contemporary songs with traditional classic hymns. But when it all comes down to it, it’s not really about the music, it’s about being able to worship God, spend time in his presence and be changed by the experience.

Evening services, on the first Sunday of every month, are smaller and more intimate, providing space for quiet reflection as they focus on prayer and communion.
